  • “Super Place!”

It would be impossible to find a more attentive and dedicated staff. The entire lodge was fantastic. The restaurant and food were above first class. The hiking was fantastic, as were the guided trips. Our favorite was the sheep dog and shearing demo!

  • “The New Zealand you imagined.”

If you are looking for nature experiences where you can hike without seeing another person, excellent food, and a comfortable place to sleep, then the Wilderness Lodge is for you. This was our favorite place in all of NZ.
