We recommend you try to stay at least a couple of nights at each Wilderness Lodge to experience the full range of the South Island's wild natural places.
What to Bring: The Lodge is open all year round (except June and July) and our guided activities operate year round. The climate is characterised by settled clear winters with light snow falls that may not even settle on the ground. Summer temperatures can reach 25C but do bring some warmer clothes, lightweight rain gear and good sturdy shoes/boots to make the most of our walks.
